iOS · Swift
Hire iOS developers who ship.
Senior Swift and SwiftUI engineers, engaged by the month or by the project. The people who scope the work are the people who write it.
Day-to-day
01Capability
What our iOS engineers do.
Not a CV keyword list — the work these engagements actually consist of.
- Ship features into an existing app
- Read an unfamiliar codebase, work inside its conventions, and land releases without a three-week ramp-up tax.
- Own architecture decisions
- Persistence, concurrency, navigation and module boundaries — decided deliberately and written down, so year two is not a rewrite.
- Handle the release, not just the build
- Signing, TestFlight, App Store review, rejections and staged rollouts. Shipping is part of the job description.
- Fix what is already broken
- Crash triage, launch-time and scroll performance, memory growth and the OS migration that has been deferred twice.
02Engagement
How to actually engage us.
Three ways to get senior iOS engineers on your product, priced in the open.
- Retainer — from $4k a month
- Reserved senior capacity on a rolling basis. Closest thing to an embedded hire, without the recruitment cycle or the notice period.
- Scoped project — $15k to $100k+
- A defined deliverable with a written scope and a fixed range: an MVP sprint at $15k–$40k, or a full build at $40k–$100k+.
- Assessment first
- For existing codebases, a scoped read-and-report before anyone commits to a monthly number. Nobody can quote a fix before reading the code.
03Terms
What you get either way.
The four things that do not change with the engagement model.
- Senior hands only
- The people who scope your project are the people who build it. No handoff to a junior bench after the pitch.
- Honest scopes
- A number we can stand behind beats a number that wins the pitch. Change requests get repriced in the open.
- You own everything
- Source, pipelines, store accounts and architecture notes. No lock-in and no hostage keys, whenever you leave.
- One business day
- Every brief gets a reply from an engineer within one business day, including the ones we turn down.
04FAQ
Before you brief us.
What does it cost to hire an iOS developer through you?
Reserved senior capacity starts at $4k a month on a rolling retainer. Scoped project work runs $15k–$40k for an MVP sprint and $40k–$100k+ for a full build. We quote after a discovery call and a written scope, not before.
Can we hire a developer full-time?
We engage as a studio rather than placing individuals for direct hire, so the closest equivalent is a retainer with reserved capacity. In practice it removes the recruitment cycle, the notice period and the ramp-up, and you can end it without a severance conversation.
Will we work with the same engineer throughout?
Yes. The people who scope your project build it. There is no handoff to a junior bench after the pitch, which is the single most common complaint about agency engagements.
How quickly can someone start?
Every brief gets an engineer's reply within one business day. Start dates depend on current capacity, which we tell you honestly on the first call rather than after you have signed.
Do you work in our timezone?
We hold a fixed overlap window with US and UK working hours, agreed before the engagement starts and written into the scope. See our United States and United Kingdom pages for how that runs in practice.

iOS app development
Swift and SwiftUI, current-generation Apple frameworks, and a release you own end to end. No wrappers, no WebView shortcuts.
Apple Watch app development
The Watch is a glance and a tap. Products that respect that constraint get worn; products that port a phone screen get uninstalled.
App rescue
The previous team is gone, the build is broken and the last release was a year ago. That is a normal starting point, not a disqualifier.
